It should be easier to get outside, meet good people, and play something without committing to a full league. Right now, finding a real pickup game in Philly usually means digging through Facebook groups, group chats, and word of mouth.
We're building a simpler path. Tell us what you play and where you are, and we'll send the pickup opportunities that fit — softball, volleyball, frisbee, soccer — across Greater Philly.
We're not just hosting our own games. We're helping people find the local pickup scene wherever it already exists: rec leagues, neighborhood meetups, drop-in nights, and the games we run ourselves.
How we're different
Some Philly games run on OpenSports— it's solid for organizers managing rosters and RSVPs. Worth checking out if you're looking for runs already posted there.
Philly Pickup is the other half: platform agnostic. We're not trying to be the only place games live. We're trying to make it easier to find great community through sports — OpenSports listings, our own events, casual leagues, park drop-ins, whatever's actually happening near you.
